Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beat Ghost mobile application, related websites, and online services (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply where you live. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Accounts & sign-in
- Some features (for example leaderboards or synced profile data) may require Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- You may delete your account from in-game Settings. Deletion removes associated leaderboard scores from our servers when the request succeeds.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, cheat, harass others, or break these Terms.
3. License to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play Beat Ghost for entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), rent, or commercially exploit the Service or its assets without our written permission.
4. Virtual content & scores
- Charts, songs, UI art, and other game content are licensed, not sold.
- Scores and ranks are gameplay results we may recalculate, reset, or remove for fairness, anti-cheat, or technical reasons.
- Public display of your name and scores can be controlled in Settings (“Authorized public display of data”).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, or manipulate leaderboards
- Interfere with servers, APIs, or other players’ enjoyment
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content through any channel we provide
- Misrepresent your identity in a way that harms others
6. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third parties such as Google Sign-In, app stores, analytics, or hosting providers. Their terms and privacy notices also apply when you use those services.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Gameplay availability may change with updates, maintenance, or network conditions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beat Ghost and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, scores, or profits arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page and, when practical, by an in-app notice.
